There is no standard.

There is shape, character, intention.

That’s where design begins.

Raised among hand-painted canvases, live music, and traditional Italian tailoring, Paula Elena Liguori grew up in a world where art and craftsmanship blended naturally into everyday life.

Her father cultivated a deep love for painting and singing, while her mother, an expert seamstress trained in the tradition of Italian haute couture, passed on precise gestures, construction techniques, and a quiet attention to those subtle details that make all the difference.

This dual heritage found fertile ground in her.

Her experience in art and tailoring allowed her to develop a broader vision of design, in which rhythm, balance, and careful listening are also part of the concrete construction of a garment.

She honed her skills through training and years of practical work.

She initially attended the Callegari Institute, but most of the curriculum focused on graphic design and pattern making. She felt that the practical component was not enough for her.

It was there that she clearly understood that she did not want to be just a designer: she wanted to be able to transform every idea into a construction, to create garments that truly followed the body and could be beautifully crafted.

She also realized that the growing separation between design and construction, so common in fashion schools, risked erasing a precious heritage: the practical, technical, and living knowledge she had absorbed since childhood.

To preserve and deepen this continuity, she chose to complete her training at Le Grand Chic in Verona, obtaining a diploma recognized throughout Europe.

There, she consolidated and formalized a path that combined design, pattern making, and production, reviving the mastery of tailoring techniques and the principle that form emerges from matter, not just from design.

"After years of experience in the field and technical refinement, I have built a solid foundation of skills that I am ready to put into practice in new and meaningful contexts.

I am fully aware that this is an infinite and constantly evolving field, and I continue to study, observe, and refine my skills.

But I also know that what I have built can now be of real value to those seeking an Italian perspective, awareness, and culture of tailoring."
